Galliarix, the king of the brave

The Galliarix is a brand new 40-foot Bavaria C42 registered in 2023. The Belgian owners have chosen this combination of names of Gallic origin "Gallia" and "Rix" which mean "brave or strong" and "king" respectively. Because this powerful boat and its brand new streamlined hull signed by the Italian architect Maurizio Cossutti behaves like a king in navigation, being able to reach an average speed of 8 to 9 knots without problem with "standard" navigation conditions.

These performances can allow you to consider an ambitious navigation program, even over 1 week. Come try it!

It is equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable and pleasant cruise, it is equipped with 3 cabins for 2 spacious, bright and ultra comfortable people. It has 2 bathrooms and 2 toilets. The saloon can be transformed into 1 berth for 2 people, generally dedicated to the skipper.

The Bavaria C42 is a high-performance and spacious cruising sailboat, designed to provide a comfortable and enjoyable sailing experience. With a hull length of 12.38 meters and a beam of 4.29 meters, the C42 has generous interior space, while offering impressive sailing performance.

The interior of the C42 is spacious and bright, with large windows to provide panoramic ocean views. The saloon is equipped with comfortable sofas and a dining table, while the kitchen has all the necessary equipment to prepare meals on board. The sailboat has a silent interior heater in case the weather is capricious, we are in the English Channel!

The C42 also has a spacious and well-equipped cockpit, with comfortable seats, an ergonomic dashboard and top-of-the-range navigation equipment. There is also a swim platform at the back of the boat, providing easy access to the water for swimming or snorkeling.

The sail plan has been tested, fitted out and advised by the highly competent SNIP team in Ouistreham (https://www.snip-yachting.com/): Elvstrom Sporttech mainsail in laminate with vertical battens + self-tacking jib with vertical slats, and an exclusive delta sails. It has an aluminum mast with two spreaders + updrade from the GV Cruisetech and also a cast lead keel, which offers excellent seakeeping and better stability in strong winds.
